It seems that currently whatever research into pheromones has taken places has been done in the agricultural labs of the world where pest control is a big issue to protect vast crop fields from infestations. These researches show how pheromones can be used to attract pests away from the fields and trap them for extermination.
Some pheromones reviews have pointed out one distinct advantage of this approach for pest control saying that if it can be perfected then pheromone traps could also be used in the homes in near future to ensure that our rooms and especially our toilets are free from these crawling pesky creatures. Another review suggests that the use of pheromones could go much farther than with just pests and that it could be used to control humans as well but that is speculation and nothing more at this point in time.
